Amendment 15

The fifteenth amendment states the government cannot deny any right to vote based on race. It also enforces the banishment of poll taxes, literacy tests, and white primaries for less racial discrimination.
Amendment 16

The sixteenth amendment is about taxes for citizens. It states Congress can enforce taxes on incomes, with no regard to the census for any individual.
Amendment 17

The seventeenth amendment says the people elect Senators, and legislature can't. But, the Executive of State Senate elects people in the absence of a Senator.
Amendment 18

Prohibition was put in place in the eighteenth amendment. Prohibition was where the production, sale, and transportation of alcoholic beverages were banned.
Amendment 20

The twentieth amendment sets new dates for Congress and Executive elections. It also discusses the "Lame Duck" policy, which is where if the president dies, the vice president takes over office. This amendment would start on October 15, following ratification- considering if ratification took more than seven years the twentieth amendment would be void.
Amendment 19

The nineteenth amendment is about Women's Suffrage, women's right to vote. It says no one should be denied the right to vote, no matter what gender they are.
Amendment 21

The twenty- first amendment is a repeal of the 18th amendment. This amendment was made because Prohibition incited more violence than was expected to smother. This is the only amendment so far to repeal another amendment, and the only amendment to be ratified by a special state institute of legislators.
