Amendment 22
The twenty- second amendment discusses the term limit. The term limit is where a president cannot serve more than two terms.(eight years) This amendment was made because of FDR's four terms in 1933-1945
Amendment 23
The twenty- third amendment talks about representation in the District of Columbia, since it was a major city, but not included as a state. This amendment states DC has three electoral college votes to vote for president and vice president, as much as a small state would.
Amendment 24
The twenty- fourth amendment was made for the abolition of the poll tax. With that, African Americans cannot be kept from electing executives. This abolition of the poll tax was also applied to state elections.
Amendment 25
The twenty- fifth amendment founded a system for the vice president to become president, if something happens to the president. This amendment set procedures when the vice president can't do their job.
Amendment 26
The twenty- sixth amendment lowered the voting age. The age was turned to 18, the age when minors become adults.
Amendment 27
The last amendment called for a congressional pay raise. Congress thought they needed a higher salary, because the pay was believed to be low and outdated at $6/day.
